| No, Andy Goldsworthy didn't come to Point Reyes, it's just us Sand Hawks, or Sand Hogs, or whatever our name was, recreating a serpentinely goldworthy wall to which we added some of the more usual sand castle embellishments in an effort to sway the judges who otherwise might not have known what they were looking at. Here's the official Event Website. And over here is Andy Goldsworthy's wall at Storm King (not the one that ours was modelled after). By the way, if you've never been to the Storm King Art Center in Mountainville NY, please go at once. It's that good! |
